Dr. Cooperrider has trained our laser technicians personally in the most effective and safest use of lasers for skin rejuvenation and hair removal. They are experts in their areas of specialization, Robin and Leslie, having worked with lasers since the beginning of their use in the medical field. Robin Schlosser
We've been lucky to have Robin on our staff since 1997. Robin Schlosser started in health care as a Medical Assistant, graduating from Lake Washington Technical College in 1993 and passing the state certification test. She joined Dr. Cooperrider's practice in 1997 as an assistant to the dermatologic surgeon, and spent the next several years learning dermatology and providing pre and post surgery patient care and assisting physicians with surgical procedures.

Leslie Smith is a certified Aesthetician who has dedicated herself to the removal of unwanted facial and body hair. Since the introduction of the first lasers to be FDA approved for hair removal in 1997, she has been working full-time providing laser hair removal services for the Laser Treatment Center. Although treatment is provided for virtually all areas of the body, many of the treatments Leslie performs are for the removal of unwanted facial hair in women.

Janell Bailey joined our practice three years ago as a medical assistant/aesthetician. Working mainly with cosmetic lasers, she has become adept, having been well-trained by Dr. Cooperrider. Janell started her career in the cosmetic industry as a massage therapist twelve years ago, primarily focusing on deep tissue massage and injury massage techniques. While working in massage in the Seattle area at various spas, she made the decision to pursue securing her aesthetic license and medical assistant education. After eight years in the massage field, it was time for a change. Janell began working at the Laser Treatment Center as an MA and then as a medical aesthetician.
