Can I have hair removal if I am tan?
Although the Soprano can effectively treat all skin types, it is best to avoid prolonged sun exposure, as tanning potentially decreases the effectiveness of the treatment or may prolong redness/irritation to the skin.
Should I shave before my treatment?
There should be no tweezing or waxing of the hairs to be treated for about one month prior to the laser appointment. It is perfectly acceptable to shave, clip or use a depilatory during the course of the treatments. However, two to three days prior to your visit, you should let the hair grow out so that it is visible to the technician for treatment.
What will I experience following treatment?
Post treatment redness is generally very mild, and requires very little post care. If redness is evident after the treatment, a cool compress and hydrocortisone cream is applied. In very few cases, the redness may last more than a few hours, and can linger a few days. Should prolonged irritation occur, a continuation of cool compresses and hydrocortisone is recommended. During this time, avoidance of direct and prolonged exposure to the sun or tanning beds is recommended.
Will the hair be gone after my treatment?
Once the hair is treated, it generally takes up to 2-3 weeks for the hairs to begin to shed. During this time, if any hair removal is necessary, shaving, clipping or depilatory are the suggested methods.
What is the cost of the procedure?

Take exit 20B (NE 124th St/Totem Lake Blvd). Stay in the right lane towards Totem Lake Blvd. and go under the freeway, proceed through the stoplight onto 120th Ave NE. Follow 120th Ave up the hill (past Trader Joe's). Go through light at 128th and then turn into the 2nd driveway on the left. We are in the Evergreen Professional Plaza between 128th and 130th lane. We are in Bldg G towards the rear of the parking lot, Suites 100 and 104.
Be sure to allow sufficient travel time as this is a high traffic area and there is often construction going on nearby at Evergreen Hospital.
